Terms of Service

Draft for legal review. Written to match what the service actually does. It has not been reviewed by an advocate, and consumer contracts in Kenya carry obligations under the Consumer Protection Act, 2012 that you should have checked before charging anyone.
Who you are contracting with
ZoeziZone is operated by CYBERVANT LTD, a private company registered in Kenya, P.O. Box 0722136702 – 00400, Nairobi. Contact cybervant.ke@gmail.com.
Who may use it
ZoeziZone is for school-age learners. A child must use it with the permission of a parent or guardian, and only an adult may create an account, agree to these terms or make a payment. By paying you confirm you are 18 or older.
What we provide
Practice questions, exams and lessons aligned to the Kenyan CBC curriculum, plus progress tracking for a guardian and, where you allow it, a teacher. The app works offline; syncing and payment need a connection.
Curriculum content is prepared from the KICD curriculum designs. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting for KICD, the Ministry of Education, or KNEC.
What we do not promise
We work hard on accuracy, but we do not guarantee that every question, answer or lesson is free of error, that the content matches any particular school's scheme of work, or that using ZoeziZone will produce any particular exam result. It is a practice tool, not a substitute for school or a teacher.
Payment
- Prices are shown in Kenya Shillings and include any applicable taxes.
- You pay by M-Pesa. Your subscription starts once Safaricom confirms the payment to us, which is normally immediate.
- A monthly subscription runs for 30 days. It does not renew automatically — nothing is ever deducted from you without you starting the payment yourself.
- Paying again while a subscription is running extends it rather than replacing it.
Refunds
If a payment leaves your M-Pesa account and you do not receive what you paid for, tell us and we will either fix the access or refund you in full. Write to cybervant.ke@gmail.com with the M-Pesa receipt number.
Otherwise, because access is granted immediately, a subscription that has been delivered is not refundable for change of mind. This does not affect your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2012.
Your account
Keep your password, PIN and any sign-in code to yourself. We will never ask you for a sign-in code by phone or message. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has used your account.
Our content
The questions, exams, lessons, hints and explanations in ZoeziZone are original work produced for ZoeziZone and are owned by CYBERVANT LTD. You may use them for learning inside the app and on this site. You may not copy, extract, scrape, resell or redistribute them, in whole or in part, or use them to build another product or data set. Learning outcome text follows the KICD curriculum designs and remains the property of the Kenya Institute of Curriculum Development; it is reproduced for reference. No text from any approved course book is included.
Acceptable use
Do not copy, resell or redistribute the questions, exams or lessons; do not try to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to the service; and do not upload anything unlawful or harmful to children.
Ending it
You may stop using ZoeziZone and delete your account at any time. We may suspend an account that breaches these terms or is being used to harm a child, and where we do so without cause we will refund the unused part of a paid period.
Liability
Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited. Otherwise, our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya, and the courts of Kenya have jurisdiction.
Changes
If we change these terms we will update the date above. A change never applies retrospectively to a subscription you have already paid for.
